We discussed descriptive analysis approaches for networks above. Common for all approaches presented was their low utilisation of computational power. For example, many of the descriptive variables could be easily calculated by hand. In this section, we present more advanced approaches â ones that require more computations. These advanced computations also provide approaches to study networks that are more extensive than those described above. Most importantly, these methods may open new ways to think and reconsider how to computationally work with a network.
